Hi! My name is Logan Gran and I am the Owner of One Smart Cookie SD. I originally started the business in Pierre and moved to Sioux Falls and brought my business with me. I specialize in custom decorated sugar cookies as well as Cookie classes! I love to teach about cookies just as much as I love to do them myself. I am an engineer by day and Cookie artist by night.

Hi! My name is Kimmie LeCompte, and I am the owner of Perfectly Baked in Pierre.

I’m a mother to five beautiful children and a wife to my incredible husband, Rhen. Alongside building my business and raising my family, I am deeply passionate about the work we do within the South Dakota Bakers Association and the opportunities we create for bakers across our state.

I never imagined I would become a baker until I met my chef husband, who helped spark the love and passion I now carry for this industry. That passion has grown into a belief I stand firmly behind: there is room for all of us here. Through SDBA, we live that out by supporting, educating, and uplifting one another.

I look forward to serving, connecting with, and growing alongside each and every one of you.

Living the sourdough dream one loaf at a time.

My name is Emily Studemann and I own the Sugar Palace in Harrisburg, SD.  I am a baker and decorator. My love of decorating has been with me since I was a teen. I did my first wedding cake at the age of 16 and never stopped. You can always find a sweet treat at Sugar Palace and I can help design cakes for your special occasion.

Hey, I’m Alex Peterson, I’m the owner & baker of Baking up a Storm in Sioux Falls. I started in the culinary field with baking as a side hobby, didn’t think it would turn into a career.  I started as a cottage baker and grew my business into a retail store located at Lake Lorraine. We specialize in Kolaches, but offer a wide range of items. When I’m not baking, you’ll find me as a dad, husband, baker and chef, I also enjoying gardening, biking and traveling.
